Lorraine Livesey

I have been associated with Esprit for many years, directly and indirectly. My partner of 19 years, Stephanie Mitchell, is transgendered. Between us we have four children and two grandchildren so I have some first-hand experience of the issues that arise in the families of trans people.

Esprit's SO program is very highly regarded among trans conventions, and deservedly so. From the high calibre of the presenters to the many social opportunities for SOs, there is much that makes this program unique. I've attended as an SO participant for several years; now I have the privilege of giving back to Esprit in the role of Significant Other Program Coordinator.

I'm looking forward to Esprit and the chance to meet a great group of SOs -- see you there!
