Esprit Saturday Gala

Hooray for Hollywood!

Without a doubt, the Saturday Gala is the most elegant and exciting event at Esprit. This party culminates the week's activities and everyone has a chance to pull out their finest and spend the day getting ready for an evening of dining, dancing, socializing, and reminiscing.

This year we continue the Divas Through the Ages theme into Saturday with our "Hooray for Hollywood" theme because there is just too much fun to be had by all you divas while celebrating our 20th anniversary. We will have a full evening of great music, food, movie posters, and decor at The Red Lion to create the mood. We'll even have a feather boa for everyone!

You, of course, will be the divas so think about which diva through the ages suits you best. You'll be able to strut your stuff and the paparazzi will no doubt bask in your glow!

The party features a no-host cocktail hour before dinner to chat with old and new friends and show off your outfit. A full and leisurely dinner will be served with plenty of time for talking, socializing with other tables, and picture-taking. Soothing music will be performed by Lynn Skinner before and during dinner. Lynn is an experienced voice coach who has served the T community for years and will be performing tunes from her "Gems In the Rough" CD.

After dinner, the outstanding classic rock band The Walrus returns again to dish out an evening of live dance music featuring your favorite pop covers. For those who really want to rock out, The Nasty Habits play punked-out 80's covers at Steele's (map), the largest sports bar in Port Angeles.

This event is open to the public for a $5 cover charge (donated to charity). Esprit staff and a local security guard will provide security and screen guests. There will be a no-host bar serving alcohol so you must be 21 or over.

Slumber Party

Don't forget the Slumber Party! The Slumber Party is your chance to slip into something comfortable and pile into a room with your pillows and blankets for what is always a loud, fun, and at times emotional get together. Snacks are provided and we will have moderators to guide the evening with comfortable and fun topics.

The party is held in the Hospitality Suite (Hollywood Beach Room, the former "Room 148").
